On a lighter note

Since the last post was on a bummer note. this one can be a bit more funny.  :) SO Megs and i went to FHE tonight and bought cuppy cakes! :) darn! forgot to take a picture.. don't worry they weren't anything ultra spectacular. like the one below.. rather it was just white cake with chocolate frosting. :)

So that's what the cuppy cakes were about. :) The carnival was semi-lame but the highlight of the evening for me was the "mud eating" contest. Basically it is just chocolate pudding with gummy worms in it. What you do is that you are blind folded and you are feeding the "mud" to your blindfolded partner. Well some of the girls decided to have a race.. and naturally Megan had to join in on the fun. :) SO our strategy was to just get the cups emptied as fast as possible. :) Well Megan got a couple spoonfuls into my mouth.. whereas i just mainly got it everywhere on her face.. haha what do you expect? Pictures to come.. since people thought it was hilairious.. and declared us the winners... once i get them from peoples. :) but it was quite hilarious.. and man were we trashed.. haha (its funny because we were wearing trash bags.) 

Safe to say our presence is now known int he singles ward. 

Another funny story of the day. 

So Meg and I are frosting the cupcakes and the doorbell rings. So Megan answers it and it is the Dish network guy.. Well us being us ,we chat him up.

 Megan, when she answers the door tells him she doesn't live here. and Then once i come to the door says " oh they want dish.. that way i can come over and watch it.. that's how we became friends.. I would just come over and watch TV.. then they got rid of it so then i had to like Jen for her personality.. "

Dish guys response " Oh. well it seems you guys have really awesome personalities" 

Us: Thanks! :) 

Dish guy: " Are your parents home? "

 Me: oh yeah.. :) ..

 and that's the end of the excitement of that story. : ) haha

So i dislike Police Officers.. They are mean and rude and they have a seniority complex. They think that they rule the streets and also what they say is law.  STUPID! Really i believe that the Boise Police Department gives out awards for the officer to give out the most tickets before noon. As a result of this, many idiotic tickets are given out. for example; Foggy windows, following too closely, etc. REALLY?!?! do they have no life that they must ruin everyone elses?!

I received a ticket this morning,.. 

A horrible motorcycle cop decided that since he doesn't have anything better to do and he REALLY wants that award that he is going to pull over this nice girl in the Ford Taurus, who, he claims, was following the car in front of her a little too close. So now i have a ticket. 

I am SO furious! He was blabbing on and on about how because i was following so closely that if the car in front of me slammed their breaks i would run into them. I almost wanted to say  to him "well you know what?! i have gotten in a car crash when i ran into the back of someone, so i know how to swerve, i also know how to not hit people." but really... is that going to help?

Answer: No. 

So now i owe 85 dollars... dumb.. If any of you want to help me and love me donations are gladly accepted! ;)

i love love love love love love love love love.. L.O.V.E. fall and winter. I just love wearing jackets and coats. Love snuggling up, and blankets. gotta love warmth. i love the colors ,the smells, the food, it is just beautiful! how could you not love to look at this?! and sipping on hot chocolate or warm apple cider.. mmm yum.

My very possible and real future if i don't get love. :)

Well I have been a busy busy bee! I have been kept fairly busy with the Halloween store. and so that's nice! : ) For the past two or so weeks i have been Nannying for Gina Nelson while she and her husband were in Italy. : ) So big buck for that! and i just started polishing Charms for Annette. Which by the way i am going to spend most of my tomorrow doing, since she needs those charms on Monday! Ah!

I also have been spending pretty much any spare moment with Megs. :) She's BACK! I am extremely happy to have a best frenn again. She and I engage in shenanigans and such, pretty much anything to keep us busy. She writes more of what is going on in her life Here. So check that stuff out! :) She is awesome and is doing a wonderful job of working through her trials and just realizing her strength.

I am working on me. I need to get into the groove of things.. currently i feel a little out of control. I am needing to get a handle on my life! I now have many things occupying my time but now i need to organize them and keep them in their place! I have the BOOtique, school (two online classes), Charms, Nannying (on occasion), Frenns, home life.. aka. Being a good daughter, Church, and just anything and everything! (or at least it feels like it)

Yesterday i came this close to adopting a  kitten, She was UH-Door-UH-BULL! Her name is Cocoa. she was the cutest! and she was quite affordable. : ) and MAN did i have me mind set on her once i saw those precious eyes. oh.my.goodness. I just could not contain myself. Had the workers at PetSmart offered for me to hold her i know there would be a snuggly little kitty in my lap right now. i had to tell Megan to talk me out of it because i know my mother would not accept this precious little furball. (since it is her house.. blah blah ) :[
So anyways Megs and i went to the Humane society today and we went to the Cattery. aka where the kitties are. :)  aaand we held A LOT of kitties and played with them and snuggled them and just LOVED it. :) the kitties were even MORE affordable at the humane society aand the price included microchip,vaccines, and spay/neutering... so it was even better! but I did not have those urges and desires today.. (even though i do ALL the time.. they were not compelling me to get a little fur ball today).

SO moral of the story is.. I have urges to have kitties and or babies.. about the baby thing.. read on. ;)

Yesterday i also was at Annette's house I i watched the kids while she and a friend went for a run.. WELL the friend had a four month old baby... and it was SOO cute. it had the most adorable face and he was squishy aka had little baby rolls and he was soo sweet... so i am looking and his little face and i say to myself "i want one!!" but alas...no dice. The lady did not want to part with the baby ....HOW rude! and we all know i am not getting a baby any other way possible..

SO i guess no babies for me of any species.. :[ I guess i will wait my turn...

So there is my story and life aand ramblings. :)

So I guess an update is in order! I got a job! at a Halloween store , called the Halloween BOOtique. and i am a Key holder so i deal with opening or closing the store and dealing with depositing money at the end of the day. i know ULTRA exciting right? i am excited. :) i am learning more everyday! and i am gaining experience. :) The people i work with are actually pretty cool. I got this job through Angie (cousin) who passed my name and number on to my cousin in law, Emily, who manages the Halloween BOOtique in Poky, who passed it on to Tara, regional manager, who passed it on to My manager, Don. SO big long chain of passing and BAM! got the job.  i am SO so so so so grateful to Angie. :) The job has been wonderful! I will need to get a new one in two months, since the Halloween store is seasonal. I am contemplating Jo-Anns. and of course i will check out the Idaho Department of Labor's website for jobs once the time comes closer.

SO.. i got my hair done.. darkened. This picture isn't recent, it is from almost a year ago when i first colored my hair. But my current hairs looks almost identical to this. So here you go! :) (p.S. got it done yesterday)

Megan and I drove down to Provo on friday! We left at 7 Am. and man we are good! :) Since Meg's car is in Provo she rode with me down there. side note. - one of my pet peeves is when leaving for a trip we don't leave when we say the ELT (estimated leaving time) is . If you say you are leaving at 7 then LEAVE at 7. A couple minutes doesn't bother me but when it is a half hour to an hour after when we said we would leave i just get annoyed. Anyways. We went to her apartment and packed up her stuffs. Then we had a cookie baking party and painted lovely pictures on some canvases  we bought at Michaels! wooo. :)

We also visited Mitchell and Matt at their apartment. WOO they have a very very nice apartment. :) it is like a HOTEL! wowie! And then we had a nice chat with Meg's Roomies. :)

Saturday Megan and I drove up to Salt Lake. and went to Kim's apartment. Then the troublesome trio went out for lunch at Dee's Cafe. Had a pretty yum-O burger, not so yum-O fries.. Then dropped Kimberly off at work, asked for directions to the Gateway Mall. Off Megan and i went for an adventure! we drove pretty much EVERYWHERE looking for it. we spent an hour!  trying to find it. I decided i better call my mother. She could look up where the Gateway is and then i can tell where i am and she can get me there. :) so thats what happened. Megan and i had LOADS of time at the mall it is was fabulous. i have not gone shopping in  a long long time. so it was wonderful!

Then Saturday continued. :) 

We then picked Kim up from work ( she got have an hour late mind you) and we were ravenously hungry. So we went to Betos! mmmm they had a delicious burrito majig called "New Mexico" and MAn mmmmm yummy. :)  then we went home had made friendship bracelets and chatted away and watched a movie. :)

Sunday we got up went to church with Kimberly. and then we went home and toook at NAP! oh i adore naps. while Kim went to work for a bit. and once she came home we chatted and Kim made us Stir fry, which was ROCKIN', and agian we can't stop talking. :) Man i love these ladies! :) And then Monday Megan and I left at 8 Am, we were on the highway on the dot headed home! :) man that was awesome. :) 

So the trip was a wonderful lovely getaway. :) WONDERFUL weekend! Thank yous to Kim and  Megan for telling me i had to go. :)

actually the more accurate description of what you have been doing is not that. you were probably unaware that I was even amidst a   inner conflict  decision.
Well I was!
this is serious business
I had to make a decision that probably wont   could impact my future. The conflict at hand is that of what I am going to be doing for the next 8 months.
There are two options.
NUMERO 1
In September go to my assigned track up at BYU-I and take the schedule that happened to miraculously work out. and get some edumacation.
Option 2
Stay in Boise until April when I will go to my other assigned track (Spring). Work here and save money.

I have had numerous people tell me their opinions. Though they did not do it this way. They told me what they think and said it was up to me. but MAN did some of them  have a point. They REALLY got me thinking. Then I got nervous and anxious. I was utterly confused. I didn't know where to go. what to do. Which one was the better choice? It was extremely difficult in this situation because both are valid and good.

There is a fork in the road and i just didn't know what to do about it. I will be at school in the spring anyway, so it is not as if i am never going to be back at BYU-I. Anyways if you weren't curious at the beginning aren't you now?! haha well like I said , I made my decision. and it is ...........

I will be staying in Boise until April. I am going to be taking some online classes and I am feeling good about it. :) SO that is the news from here!

Dear Hubby.

Dear Future Husband. Yes YOU! since at this moment in time you are not in my life I thought it would be nice for me to give you a shout out. just so you know FH [that means future husband].. I am HANDY!

I realize that my father has brought me up well to know how to take care of myself...even to the point that I wonder if I am too self-sufficient..

I often think about playing dumb in hope of having some buff and burly man come along and see my helplessness. ;) but really I will know how to do said task.

FOR EXAMPLE: changing a tire, checking and changing fluids in my car, installing door handles,driving stick shift, for the most part diagnosing my car troubles, how to drive in the snow, how to use a hammer,screw driver, impact driver,level,saw, etc home repair things. Also identifying and knowing the difference between said tools and the uses for them.

SEE! I know TOO much to have anyone to need to teach me how to do something.

So FH I hope you love me being a know-it all.. because it is hard for me to sit back and let someone explain to me something I already know. ;) sorry..
